A Call for Abstracts has been issued inviting speakers to submit abstracts of papers for
presentation at ANGVA 2007, the 3 day Conference and Exhibition of
the Asia-Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) in Bangkok, Thailand, November 27-29,2007.
Introduction
The Asia Pacific Natural Gas
Vehicles Association (ANGVA) 2nd Biennial Conference & Exhibition
(ANGVA 2007) will be held from November 27-29 2007. ANGVA 2007’s
objectives are:
• To showcase natural gas vehicle (NGV) development and technologies, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
• To provide networking opportunities for NGV players in Asia-Pacific and other parts of the world.
• To facilitate harmonized technical and safety standards for the industry throughout the region.
• To promote ANGVA as the key NGV association in the Asia Pacific region.
Call for Abstracts
The Organizing Committee invites speakers / authors to submit the
abstracts of their papers for consideration for presentation at the
conference. The presentation / papers are to reflect the theme of the
conference - “Natural Gas For Vehicles – The Future is Now”. Papers are invited addressing any the following areas:
• Biomethane (refined biogas)
• Carbon trading
• Case studies
• Country reports
• Cylinder developments
• Dispensers and dispensing technology
• Emissions related papers
• Fuel blends (e.g. HCNG, etc)
• Fleet experience
• Home refuelling
• Hydrogen vehicles and refuelling
• Implementation
• Industry technology
• Infrastructure
• Investments and funding
• Joint venture projects
• Marketing
• Nano-technology and solid state storage
• OEM Vehicle developments
• Off-road applications (including Marine, rail, remote power generation)
• Policy development and implementation
• Regulations
• R&D
• Safety
• Standards
• Storage cylinders
• Virtual pipelines
Abstracts
Speakers are invited to submit a 200 – 400 word abstract of relevant topics by 23 March 2007 to conference organizer NGV Network by

The abstract must include the speaker/author(s) name, organization or
affiliation name, addresses, phone and email contact details.
All submission must be in English language only, typed using Microsoft Word; font – Arial; size 12 pt with single spacing.
Papers submitted may also be considered for a Poster Session – please
indicate when you make your submission if your paper is suitable for a
Poster Session.
Language
Proceedings of the conference will be presented in English only with
simultaneous translations to Mandarin. Translations into other
languages may be provided subject to demand.
Presentation Time
The speakers will be given 20 minutes for their respective
presentations during the conference. Subsequently, there will be a
moderated question and answer session.
Speaker Conference Registration
Speakers whose papers are accepted will be entitled to a 30% reduction
on conference registration fees (limited to one speaker / author per
paper only). Registration and payment must be processed by August 31
2007.
