The Korean leg of the Green Highways Eastern Route came to an end Friday with a welcome ceremony at Korea’s Ministry of Environment. The Korean Ministry of Environment’s Director General Mr Goh Yoon-hwa made welcoming remarks and was presented with a Green Highways souvenir t-shirt.
“Korea’s Ministry of Environment can take the major credit for
promoting NGVs to clean the air of Korea’s metropolitan cities,” said
Project Manager William Choi. “The Green Highways Pjroject appreciates
their sponsorship and efforts to assist us promote and educate about
the benefits of NGVs.”
The ceremony marked the end of the Korean route where a total of almost
2000 kilometres was completed by the three vehicle caravan.
The three Eastern Highway vehicles and a reduced Green Team will
tomorrow depart Incheon, Korea for Tianjin on China’s Eastern Seaboard
from where the Green Highways program in China will begin.
