Green Highways Enters China PDF Print E-mail

The Eastern Route of the Green Highways ran into some early hardship during its China leg enduring a 5 day wait for customs release at the Tianjin Port.

The Green Team was thus forced to cancel a planned PR event in Beijing at Green Highways sponsor Landi Renzo. Our apologies go out to Landi Renzo and Ms. Tina Wang who worked hard to arrange, postpone and then cancel the planned event in which many VIPs and media had been invited.

The Green Team expected to face adversity during the grueling China leg of the project. Having lost 5 full days the team will now have to drive all the way to Vietnam before having another rest day.

While spirits have been tested the team will overcome this hardship and will have even greater reason to celebrate the successful completion of the project upon arrival in Bangkok in time for the beginning of the ANGVA 2007 Conference and Exhibition.
