Green Highways in Laos: Serenity Now! |

Vangvieng, Laos
The Eastern Route of the Green Highways moved into Laos yesterday after a chaotic couple of days moving through Vietnam. The Green team enjoyed a morning off in Hanoi and saw the sights while posing for photographs.
The hustle and bustle of Hanoi’s never ending swarm of motorcyclists made for some of the more challenging driving conditions the Green Team has faced to date.
Fortunately the Green Team was able to pass through Vietnam without any road trouble despite many near misses.
Presently the team is enjoying the beautifully pure and charming countryside of Vangvieng, Laos, 160kms north of capital Vientiane. “We had a punishing couple of days avoiding kamikaze like motorcyclist in Vietnam,” said Calibration Engineer Terry (Sungbok) Hong. “The hospitality we have received in Vietnam and Laos has been amazing. We are very Grateful.”
The Green Team held newspaper and TV interviews in both Vietnam and Laos. The ANGVA mission to raise awareness for affordable and clean natural gas as an alternative fuel in the region has a firm platform for which to continue the campaign.
